Intentional Progression Through Structured Planning

In many boutique fitness settings, the class curriculum is very scattered if not entirely random. This method has its pros and cons for a number of reasons, but here at Tangent we want to help promote effective development through a guided curriculum.

Every 3 months we will transition to a new season or point of focus. This doesn’t mean every move is going to change, but rather how we are doing things will change. There will be different goals within each season to help promote a complete sense of growth and development in the body.

Just as our habits subtly shift from season to season, our intention of movement will as well.

  • Build

    Build is a about maximizing the fundamentals. Reinforcing the base patterns that enable all the more complex patterns of movement.

  • Refine

    The keys to refine are found in the subtle details. Refine highlights the fundamentals this time teaching them from the ground up.

  • Connect

    The Connect season is where the pieces start to come together. Just like learning a language. We started with the basics and now its time to put things together.

  • Utilize

    Utilize is the chance to thread the basics together to more complex and compound actions. You will have the chance challenge yourself in new and creative ways while feeling a strong sense of control and preparation.
